It’s time for great news: Today, we are thrilled to announce the official launch of our release 2021.2 as well as our new hardware aka the new SWARM Perception Boxes!
With the new version 2021.2 we benefit from new features and improvements, which we would like to present and illustrate in these release notes.
In recent months, many of you have requested a complete solution with data hosting and advanced analytics – basically more ‘finished’ information. That’s why we’ve expanded our offering for you. This includes all the familiar services from simple orchestration of your SWARM Perception Boxes to now advanced data visualization options including easy API integration options.
According to your needs you can pick between two plans available where you either have data restored for the last 30 days or even for 3 years.
In order to collect information with close to zero effort, we decided to expand our research on the data post-processing side to transform data into Human Readable Information. This means rather than just reporting simple counts based on direction for parking scenarios, it is now possible to natively model capacity information of parking lots within the SWARM Perception Platform. Exactly this can be done with our new Data Analytics!
It allows you to digitize your traffic and parking scenarios and visualize live data as well as historical trends analyses. In addition, you have the possibility to organize your parking areas, intersections or counting areas into different groups and display them in a list and map view.
Map view for your running scenarios in Data Analytics
Operate and maintain your parking installations by knowing current and historical utilization as well as getting insights on your parking customers around parking times. Following information can be retrieved for solving your problems:
Do you need more reliable information about the utilization of your parking areas? See your current utilization to provide information about it to your parking customers. In addition, historical utilization gives you further insight into your parking area.
How long do your customers park in your parking area? Thanks to our Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) feature, you can view average, minimum, and maximum parking duration in your dashboard with one click.
Are you facing the challenge of identifying long-term parkers and short-term parking violators? By setting the maximum parking duration of your parking area in your digital dashboard, you will have the license plate number of each parking offender listed in table view with one blick – including a picture of the vehicle with license plate number and time stamp for evidence.
Do you have multiple entrances and exits to your parking lot? No worries, be designing your dashboard in your digital parking area in SWARM Data Analytics, the capacity is automatically calculated taking into account all entrances and exits. On top of that, you can monitor how often which entry and exit is used.
With the traffic scenario feature in SWARM Data Analytics, you know the patterns and types of traffic in your cities, on highways, intersections or any urban street.
You would like to monitor your traffic scenario and see the traffic patterns for analysis and prediction? Simply add an origin-destination analysis to your own traffic scenario dashboard.
What are the patterns at heavily traveled roads, highways or intersections? Display your traffic counts aggregated over time at different levels in a bar chart or similar output options.
Do you want to know the modal split of your traffic area or city? By displaying traffic counts split by SWARM classes (10+1), you can now view the modal split in a pie chart or similar output options.
New hardware for our SWARM Perception Boxes: The new P101 and OP101 are now more performant and have technical improvements, i.e. a power via Ethernet (PoE) option which eases the infrastructural setup. In addition, the OP101 now has the option to directly connect two cameras simultaneously. You can find more information about our SWARM Perception Boxes in our technical documentation or on our Products page.
