From October 18 to 20, 2022, the Smart Country Convention took place in Berlin. There were over 12,000 participants, over 250 partners and more than 400 speakers on four stages – and we as Swarm Analytics were right in the middle!
Many innovative ideas were presented with which digitalization can be accelerated – especially in the public sector. In addition, numerous thoughts and approaches were exchanged and discussed in a wide range of panels, keynotes and workshop sessions. Our Swarmies Carolin, Verena and Martin were on site to present our sensor technology and were happy about many, great visitors and conversations at our booth.
A special highlight was a panel of the first day of the fair on the topic: ‘Everything in flux? Ways towards data-based traffic management and planning in our cities and regions’.
It goes without saying that we were particularly pleased that our Swarmie Carolin was able to participate in this panel together with Maria Rautavirta (Director of Data Business Unit, Data Department; Ministry of Transport and Communications in Finland), Moritz Hegmann (Head of Data Business Europe; Mobileye) and Ralf Tank (Project Manager and Administrator Traffic Control Systems; Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt Mobilitätsamt). In one and a half hours, the panelists exchanged views on mobility patterns, new digital mobility services and sustainable transport. Of course, everything combined with reliable data.
